I had some difficulties accessing the blog during my time in America in August and September has been a whirlwind of teaching so finally… the July monthly recap!
Weekend 27 & 28:
Finally… Italy! I have been dreaming of going to Italy for quite some time now but continued to put it off because I wanted to “do it right” and “make sure I had enough time”. Well, with one week free this summer I was anxious to explore a new country. While Malta was a close contender, Aris and I chose to spend the first week of July in Naples. I finally got to go to Italy!
Naples was a lot of fun for us. There are a LOT more places in Italy I want to see, but I am so glad I had this week to explore Naples with my love. We stayed for an entire week… so get ready for my week long itinerary for Naples! Some highlights included the National Archeological Museum in Naples, Pompeii, and Capri.
Weekend 29, 30, & 31:
Back again to lovely Greece… We really lucked out and were able to go back to Greece a week earlier than originally planned! We spent time with friends and family, soaked up the sun, enjoyed incredible food, and made memories to last of lifetime. It was very hard to leave Greece this time, we can’t wait to go back soon (hopefully this spring). Look our for more articles about western Greece from myself and from Aris. In the meantime, a few photos to highlight July in Greece…
July was the perfect summer month. Italy and Greece are dream destinations for many people… and we were fortunate enough to visit both in one month. While July ended… summer still remained. August was a big month as well… back to the good ol’ USA! Look our for an August month recap soon!
Looking forward to August 2017…
